For my setup, PinballX is the main frontend for all of my tables.  PinballX displays all tables and allows you to scroll through, select and play all configured tables regardless of which emulator or program launches the table.  So you can have VPX tables along side Pinball FX3 or any other tables without having to launch multiple applications on your own.
